Important working conditions of Green Sand:
Backwash: 30-35m/h
Bed depth: 600-900mm
Water pH-range: 6,2 – 8,5
Free volume: min. half of the bed depth
The ongoing water should’nt contain oil or poliphosphats.
Solution of regeneration: max.2,5 – 3 g KMnO4 / l water of KMnO4 solution tank
KMnO4 solution: 10ºC water 30g KMnO4 / liter H2O
